Zittau. City where the borders of Saxony, Bohemia and Silezia meet. Once upon a time this was somewhere in the middle of Germany, not far from the Austrian border. A city in the heart of Europe.

Then wars broke out, borders shifted, and who survived the wars had to flee. Zittau became a forgotten city where the borders of three obscure countries met - DDR, Poland and Czechoslovakia. A city just beyond the end of the world.

Then everything changed once more. On the map, Zittau finds itself in the heart of the European Union. In the mind of the people it is still the middle of nowhere. Who knows what the future will bring.
